By looking at Judaism and Christianity, we can see a development of morality communicated from God to people. The Judaic law said eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth, but Jesus gave a new command to not return evil for evil, to not judge harshly, to forgive when remorse is there. This moral progression is interrupted by Islam, which takes a step back toward barbarism, cutting off a person's hand for stealing, putting to death a woman for premarital sex, but not the man for some reason.
God does not contradict himself or go back on his word. Islam is not even an eye for an eye or tooth for a tooth, but is more primitive then that. Is it logical to call Allah all merciful and all loving while chopping off a person's hand for stealing, even if the person stolen from says they do not want this?
This is depicted in the holy books of Islam. Did any of the Old Testament prophets marry young children and have sex with young children? Jesus said a woman that divorces and remarries is committing adultery.
Would God contradict himself and later say that it is okay for a prophet to marry a divorced woman? This is not logical. God is a God of mercy and not sacrifice.
This is what the old testament prophets taught us. God does not lie.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
