" I think you might have read or heard this line before. My answer to your question is take the road less travelled, it is more interesting because not many people pass along this road so you might experience a lot of discomfort and surprises along the way since only a few will be able to share whatever they experience when they took this unpleasant, and less travelled road. Taking the road that is challenging will have its rewards.
And one of that is experience. To be honest, I am the type of person who is not a very adventurous one. But I think that most of my experiences in life I took the challenging road in one way or another without really thinking about it.
I took a course which I think will help me find a job in another country where the income is much higher compared to what I will be earning in my native country. I did finish my course and land a job in a foreign country. And I can't believe that I was able to do this on my own.
Although, I did not stay very long but the experience is more than enough to make me a new and better person. I taught me a very valuable lesson in life. I learned through that experience what truly makes me happy as a person.
That was my crossroad then when I was working abroad. Making the decision to come home was very difficult. It helped me also to develop a special relationship with God. When I was alone working in a foreign country living on my own in an apartment, the experience brought me closer to God.
He gave me strength and wisdom to make a very difficult decision. I was depressed but I came out of it without resorting to pills for I saw light at the end of the tunnel. The road that I took although full of loneliness and emotional discomfort brought me something which cannot be bought by money.
I learned to value relationships more than ever before. I learned that I could be in the most comfortable and interesting place in my life and yet still feel miserable like living in a pit because I was far from the people that I love and care. Now that I am back in the bosom of my family, I no longer feel afraid to go to the road less travelled because I know that it will give me something very important and that is life's lessons.
The obvious answer might be that the challenging road would be more interesting. However, there is an argument that the convenient road might have been well-researched, determined interesting, and subsequently chosen. Just because it's convenient doesn't make it uninteresting.
On the flip side, I don't think I'm necessarily interested in too much of a challenge. Takes up too much time. Hope this answers the question!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
