1 I like Fodor's, but have never used Frommer's.
2 I prefer Frommer's. I used to work at a travel company and this was the book of choice. One nice thing about Frommer's is that it lists the top sites if you have limited time at a destination.
I also like Lonely Planet and the Rough Guide.
Which one has better recommendations when it comes to restaurants, hotels, attractions, and more up-to-date information. Both are aimed at wealthy first-world travelers who don't like to get their hands dirty and need a buffer between themselves and the countries they visit. I would recommend Rough Guide, Lonely Planet, Culture Smart, and Eyewitness over those brands.
That said, Fodor is slightly less highbrow and therefore more likely to actually help you experience the country you are visiting rather than looking at it like a museum exhibit.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
