They type of drinks that used to get me the most hangovers were the drinks whose number in that sitting were 24 through 40+ (ba-boomph boomph)... if I was still up after that a hangover would be the least of my problems. Hangovers are caused by the alcohol leaving you body so any drinks that are "too much" for you will cause you the most hangovers. Each person will be different.
Lack of body hydration, acidosis (increased acidity of blood), congeners (impurities in the alcohol), expansion of the blood vessels, blood sugar variations, and the body's daily sleep rhythm being offset are the basic effects of alcohol on the body as it is detoxified and during this process we will experience what we all know as a hangover. "Hangovers are caused by drinking too much alcohol. " URL1 MayoClinic Somewhere around 1996 I stopped getting hangovers because I would keep my BAC at a constant level, drinking in the shower (1/2 a bottle of rum usually would do it), at the breakfast table, while I drove to work, at work, on the ride home, all day every day.
I had no need to hide it as I was the "constantly drinking bartender" and lived alone. From 2001 to 2007 the bottle almost never left my lips, literally My doctor told me it was a reasonable conclusion to draw in saying that my regular BAC was around 0.20 and at the end in that last trip to the hospital.. I walked into the ER with a 0.51 BAC. No kidding.(most states the DUI BAC limit is 0.08 for some perspective) That hangover was prevented by a medical detoxification which required a IV Adavan drip to keep me alive while I was detoxified and 11 days under constant medical surveillance and care .
I know far too much about hangovers and what comes next.
Oh man, we went out this last weekend (first time since the baby was born) and I decided to enjoy some margaritas and then later some beers. I felt terrible yesertday! Tequila is not my friend.
I know this because I drink beer almost every day and never feel bad. But dang... That tequila was really teKILLya!
I get the worst hangovers when I mix beer or wine with liquor (vodka).
I think we can safely say that, technically, the amount of alcohol toxicity is the leading indicator of hangovers, along with, informally, the amount of dehydration. I drink pretty regularly, and after downing Pedialyte after a night of drinking or in the morning ( usually two bottles), I basically don't have hangovers anymore. But I would suggest that different alcoholic beverages affect others differently, so this is a personal question.
For me, I can down epic amounts of any type of alcohol except tequila and King Cobra beer.
CHAMPAGNE was the worst hangover I have had in my LIFe lasted 24 straight hours and nothing would make the headache go away!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
