I consider summer veggies to be harvested in the summer, though this isn't always true. I would consider Summer veggies to be: Tomatoes (could be a fruit, I don't remember what the scientific findings were), green onions, peas, spinach, lettuce, herbs, catelope, and zucchini. Not an all inclusive list by any means.

Are there Winter, Spring and Fall Veggie categories too? : Yes, but it also depends on where you live.In Wisconsin, brussel sprouts, broccoli, pumpkins, garlic, potatoes and corn are considered Fall veggies. There are veggies that grow better in cooler weather.

We can't grow things outside during the Winter, so we don't have any winter veggies.Do fruits have the same type of categories, depending on season? : I think so. I consider season to be when it is harvested.

Summer vegetables grow best in heat, and can't be planted until the nights are above 60 degrees and the days are above 80 ideally. Most things in the solanaceae family are considered in season in the heat of the summer such as Tomatoes, eggplant, hot peppers and bell peppers, basil, watermelon, and some greens like collard greens do well in summer. Eating vegetables in the season they normally grow in is much better for a number of reasons, they do not have to travel from far away climates, they taste better when they are not forced to grow in greenhouses especially tomatoes. As for cool weather vegetables usually you get two seasons with those, spring and fall, sometimes winter depending on where you live.

So cool weather plants are spinach and lettuces and many other greens, a lot of the plants in the brassica family, such as cabbage, broccoli Brussels sprouts also Swiss chard. The other benefit of buying in season is that it is always much cheaper. Produce prices change based on weather a vegetable or fruit is in season.

As for fruits apples and pears would be some of the few fruits that are in season in the fall / winter, also oranges grow in Florida during the winter, while watermelons and cantaloupes and strawberries, and other berries are more summer fruits. Happy eating!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
