Who are Lord Shiva's parents?

Lord Shiva has another name Swayambhu meaning, one who manifests himself. So, he as God, is not created by another. The concept of being born to parents only apply to some species like us, mammals.

Shiva has another name Kaalaatheetha, one who exists even when there is no time. Hence, there are no parents to Lord Shiva.
