Who do I confess my sins to?

As a protestant I pray to the lord. If something is bothering you you pray. Being a christain is about building a relationship with our creator.

One very important way is praying. Go to the lord and pray. You can pray any where any time.

As for why Catholics and protestants have confrontations there is a long history of why. But briefly during the days of the early christains many of the christains were persecuted. Eventually the leaders of Rome realized that nothing could be done about these people.

Every time they were rid of one christian many others would rise up. So eventually an emperor named Constantine decided to accept the Christians and he himself even claimed to be a Christian and made himself the first pope. He created a church and called it the Roman Catholic Church.

That's why we have The Catholic church today. The catholic church became large and Rome forced everyone to a catholic if you weren't you were put to death. The Catholic church became very corrupt and eventually a man named Martin Luther exposed the Catholic Church by posting what is known as the ninety five thesis with all he found wrong with the church.

This started the Protestant movement. Many people broke away from the Catholic church and many new churches were formed leading to many new denominations. As years go on the catholics and Protestants continue to fight especially during the middle ages.

That history leads to some hostility between the two groups you see today. However, I would think we r all at peace now especially compared to years ago. :).

Also, personally as a protestant I have no hard feelings against Catholics. God has his people everywhere. :).

That's not true. I was raised Methodist and converted to Catholicism 14 years ago. Catholics like Protestants fine, and vice versa...except for extreme anti-Catholic groups.

They tend to not like Catholics. No. All are welcome at the Catholic Church.

However, if you visit you should not receive the Eucharist. Nothing wrong with that. Anyone can use holy water.

It is biblical...Numbers 5:17.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
