Kinder, more generous, more empathetic, more forgiving and less judgmental in reverse correlation to their religious belief. As religion goes up everything else goes down.
I've seen it. It's hardly surprising. Raise a kid with the fear of hell, and you get a child that has no clue why he would need to be kind.
He just knows he gets punished if he doesn't. It ends up being a kid solely acting out of fear. Add to that raising a kid with one religious 'truth', and you get kids who think everybody who's different is weird, or even scary.
Raise a kid with understanding how people are different, and you get a kid who's nice simply because he likes people.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
