Why is the politics section full of religious people & the religion section full of atheists?

One does not have to be religious to discuss religion. Yes, there are some on here who come on just to mock or be rude, but that is just as true of so called christians. There are also many atheists who discuss religion calmly and rationally.

Not that many Christians who do the same. I've yet to see an atheist on here threaten eternal damnation for the Christians, yet I see it all the time FROM Christians.

Well, this section isn't just for religious people. It's for people to discuss their views and opinions on religion. So, atheists do have the right to come here and express their opinions.

But nobody should be making fun of or tearing down others' beliefs. That goes for atheists and religious people alike (I see just as many so-called Christians making fun of Mormons, trashing Catholics, etc. as I do atheists mocking Christians).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
