Who do you think is the main character in American History X? The younger or older brother and why?

The younger brother Danny. Danny is the protaganist to Derek the antagonist. I believe the story is about Dannys ability to overcome the tragedy of his upbringing and environment.

If you look closely to the film you will see that every scene told through Dereks eyes is in black and white, every scene told through Dannys eyes is in color, the final scene is the exception .. where Derek is in the shower, its in color. Derek has finally seen things in something else than black and white. Even though Danny is dead, he remains the main character... even the event of his death is what finally gets Derek to see clearly.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
