The 'family' was a rag-tag group of 'flower children' that lived as a family with their guru ex-con named Charles Manson. They lived on the fringes of society and on the fringes of Death Valley. Among other things they killed at least 9 people (most estimate the total is much larger) before they were finally stopped in 1969 Manson, Patricia Krenwinkle, Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, Charles 'Tex' Watson, Bobby Beausoleil were all convicted of murders (not at the same time) and given death.
All death sentences were commuted to life when the Supreme Court struck down the death penalty due to cruel and unusual punishment for prisoners.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
