Overrated is another word for I just think that over used riffs and crappy vocals don't need recognition like that. The most underrated band by far is Mindless Self Indulgence, they've got a unique style and something to say. Not enough people give them even any credit at all.

Lady Gaga, she has a mediocre song and singing skill but she is popular..i guess she is another market pushup in music industry. There's a lot of fine musician who underrated. Most of them are indie band.
