George W. Bush No question. No one else has lied more, done more illegal things, been more of a poser, wasted more money, set back progress more, ruined our economy more, ruined America's image more, and a whole host of other atrocities..

Before the present one I would have said Richard Nixon because of his paranoid and illegal activites. However, I am afraid George W. Wins- not only for the last 50 years but possibly ever.

He has set back financially to a point where we may never recover to where we were, he has set us back educationally with his abortive attempt at "no child left behind' which he imposed on the states and never funded and which does no good for any child, simply handicaps the schools, he has does his best to destroy our Americian freedoms and national rights especially in the areas of the Separation of Church and State, without which we are under threat of losing any vestige of democracy and the areas of our rights to privacy. He himself has violated the Constitution several times and hampered investigations into illegal activities of his appointees- even exonerating them from due process. He has destroyed our reputation across the world and has set back global environmental progress at least 50 years, despite his current pretensions, and worst of us he has created an atmosphere of fear and immobility in our country with his nonsensical War on Terror.(a contradiction in terms) And that is all without even mentioning Iraq, and the needless loss of life.

He failed to protect our people after Katrina, while he was careful to always protect big business. He lied to us so many times that I can't keep count. He has completely destroyed so many people's trust in government of any kind.It is unbelievable to me that we elected him twice.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
