A door on your home, or a fence to keep the dogs in are so far in cost, nature and intent from a two thousand mile fence capable of keeping people out that it literally boggles the mind. But let's take this at face value, yes, I have a door. When I lost my keys I broke a window.

I still got in. So I replaced my glass windows with lexan on the first floor, the burglar got in through the second floor. So I replaced those windows with bars.

Then raccoons got into the basement. So I quickly patched around the oil pipe where they were getting in. Then squirrels got into the roof by jumping off an overhanging tree branch.

So I re-roofed and cut down the tree. My attempt to keep out what wants to get in cost me nearly ten thousand dollars. It wasn't worth all the worry and trouble.

I didn't need watchtowers and drones and guns all to keep out people who want to work so they can send money home. It's one thing to control the borders, to deport those illegals found, but its a whole other thing to think that you can keep out everything that wants to come in. At some point, its an expensive proposition with no real upside.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
