Who was the Faithful and Discreet Slave before Charles Taze Russell?

No. The faithful and discreet slave wasn't mentioned until Jesus time. The same as being born again, it wasn't mentioned until Jesus time.

Here's the link that you may reference the info you gathered so far. http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/20094...

What the JW's want to call the FDS never existed and still does not exist. Christ was the only one to mention about (((a))) "faithful servant" in one of several parables he gave about not knowing the day when He will return. Like the other parables He told to show His point, they are all just parables and there never was a "faithful slave" as such just a fabricated story to emphasis a point.

Matthew 24:45. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant,........... Matthew 45 is all about "The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times" Nothing about an organization of self admitted, uninspired by God men to tell everyone else what God was talking about, but even get that wrong most of the time.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
