A president has ABSOLUTELY NO ABILITY or authority to VETO a Constitutional amendment. But Obama has no regard for the Constitution or the law. He is a Marxist, plain and simple.
He is obviously an academic fraud as well. Despite his claimed attendance at Columbia, no one remembers him, not even those in the same circle he claims to have been in. His transcripts are sealed from public view.
Your understanding of reality is somewhat flawed; yes, if it got a simple majority it would go to the President, but if (when) he vetoed it, to override that veto would require the 2/3 majority in both the House and Senate you speak of....and that 2/3 majority is completely unattainable...the GOP are simply "saber-rattling", and it sounds as though you might also be guilty of that too, unless you are just confused! Perhaps you were out of school the day they explained the roles of the House, the Senate, and the President as a system of "checks & balances" to each other? On the face of it, the "Balanced Budget Amendment" is kind of a stupid idea anyway unless you believe all growth has stopped.....would you similarly approve a Bill that put an upper limit on how much an American could mortgage a home for?
Perhaps you think Americans should all save up enough cash to buy a house with? THAT would be great for the economy, huh?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
