Who will take on responsibility of planning/coordinating the flu centers – PH or med centers?

€¢ A benefit of flu center is that it serves vulnerable populations. €¢ Need planning group – some feel they have that established already. €¢ A benefit of flu center would help to not overwhelm ER’s.

€¢ Better to be more/over prepared than not to be able to handle sit. €¢ May be a good time to talk to politicians about funding. Need increase!

€¢ PH entity • Dissemination of information/Anti virals/triage • Alternate care site for people convalescing • Limited scope based on resources • Triage/anti vitals • Use PH – pulls together staff that can help – retired nurse, MD, etc. • Phone bank / with voicemail and education • Start early educating public on a care site. When it happens public is aware.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
