Why am I having so many sleep issues lately during night hours but not during day light hours?

Well dude, I might be able to help. I've been there and back. You're afraid of the dark, that's all it is.

And it's nothing to be ashamed of. That feeling you get at night is natural. Even today, humans are a physically weak species.

Were it not for our massive intelligence, we would have been extinct millenia ago. Other animals have claws, acute hearing, night vision, great speed... and we have none of that. For most of our history, being alone and in the dark was a sure way to get eaten.

Predators, big nasty ones, still exist in the animal world. They hunt under cover of darkness, watching intently from the shadows, waiting for their prey to be alone. Then they sneak up from behind and attack before their prey (ie: us) can even turn around.

We don't have night vision or good hearing. We can't outrun our natural enemies, we have no thick hide or armour as a defense, and we have no hope of fighting them off. The only thing we DO have is that creepy feeling - the feeling that tells us being alone in the dark is a bad situation.

That being-watched feeling and the something-is-behind-me feeling, those are what kept us alive long enough to invent weapons and structural defenses. And we still need those instincts, because those predators still exist: Wolves, big cats, crocodiles... those are all still around, and you don't want to mess with them in the wild. Your instincts are just a little too strong for your liking, but they're not childish and they're not a bad thing.

You also have a misconception about ghosts and hauntings. I lived in a haunted house for years. It wasn't said-to-be-haunted, it was friggin' haunted.

And trust me, ghosts don't limit their activities to night time. In fact, most ghost researchers agree that ghosts are just as active in the day as they are at night. And get this - ghosts aren't actually frightening, and no ghost has ever harmed a human being.

We're all just naturally more nervous at night, so it seems creepier then. That's why all the good scary stories involve darkness. It's a primal thing, going back to the days when we all lived up a tree.

What you might do is seek professional help with this. There's no shame in it. If you broke your leg or cut your hand off, would you be a wimp if you asked for medical attention?

Same thing with your situation. You've got a problem that is affecting your entire life, and isn't going to go away on its own. It might take several different methods of therapy before you find a solution, but you can find a solution.

You deserve a normal life.

Sorry but it sounds like your paranoid (false fear) because many of the spirits out there exist of pure love and light. If you haven't been able to distinguish the difference between vampires and angles that's an indication your fears exist from your ego mind. You will have to confront your fears face to face in order to get over or let the fear go.

When you have fear look for peace NOT a distraction, It would be recommended to leave the TV out of the equation. Now this means you are going to have to sit in complete darkness (your eyes will adjust) and allow yourself to become afraid for your life, Because that's the key point where you are going to become overwhelmed by your fears, and then you are going to have to be with the fear for a little while, while your mind learns that their is nothing to fear except yourself. Once you discover where the fear resides in your mind, you may cleanse your mind of said fear.

Fear is resistance to your true self, and the truth itself. Now this sounds terrifying to many, but it's your gift, and you can try to communicate with spirits when they make contact with you. It's been done before and they have much knowledge and wisdom to share to those willing to listen.

This may be the reason they make their presence known to you (weird paranormal events) because they are trying to get your attention, but instead fear blocks contact. I would suggest for you to continue your life, except next time you start to become uneasy or have trouble sleeping, just sit somewhere and meditate. Close your eyes and try to clear your mind of all thoughts.

If you can't do that then do like I said and sit with the fear (a fear mediation), because if you are afraid of the truth, lies will sit in it's place. What I mean is that YOU CANT RUN from your fears no matter what because they exist inside YOU! Not in a particular room or upstairs or at your school, and if you never confront them they will always follow you.

Good luck to you and remember love overpowers all evil.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
