Why are cons led by the nose by gold salesmen like Glenn Beck?

. Yup, he is wrong-wrong-wrong. I saw the show (The View) on which, when asked by Joy Behar about checking facts and sources, etc., he replied "I'm an entertainer, I can say what I want... I DON'T NEED FACTS!"

I saw one of his shows where he had three prominent economists on his show about a year ago; he did all kinds of "chalk-talk" and spouted one tenuous connection after another in trying to connect one irrelevant woven misstatement after another to the succeeding X-and-0 ... after a minute or two of blank looks on their faces, Beck finally asks "Well, it IS like that, isn't it?" to which they all shook their heads and replied "No." I had good schooling and have kept my eyes and ears open as an adult. I don't need ANYONE to TELL me what my position should be on 'stuff.' I don't punch the air when Rush or Sean or Bill-0 or Lou or Glenn make a point; maybe it's because I don't agree with any of them, but the best points they have are... their heads.

But I want to know what they are saying and just as importantly, just how nutso their fans are getting... the 'special ed' folks who really only need their helmets re-tightened and the drool wiped off their chins. And yes, LIES. LIES are intentional.

Beck KNOWS he's lying. He KNOWS his audience is gullible:: not only do they 'eat him up,' but they ALSO prove their gullibility by purchasing semi-illiquid, gold-alloy coins at a huge premium with gold at its highest price EVER. C'mon, folks: you make money when you buy LOW and sell HIGH... NOT by buying HIGH.

Admit it, you Nervous Nelly granniess out there, the Depends crowd: you've been swindled by a guy who wears "Magic Underwear." Magic underwear. That's true.

It's supposed to be cumbersome, with strings to tie, etc. It supposed to make you stop and think before you just strip naked for some fvckin... which in itself is kinda weird for the bigamist Mormon crowd, don'tcha think? .

I like how much you know about Glen Beck, and yet claim to hate him and have obvious leanings toward the left. Typical.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
