Why are so many vegetarians/vegans pro-choice?

I'm vegetarian and I'm pro-choice because I recognize the difference between my own personal moral decisions and political/social decisions. I personally would not choose to abort a baby if I became pregnant (in the same way that I personally believe it would be wrong for me to eat meat because I want to minimize my environmental footprint and reduce animal cruelty), but I would not to prevent or have the law prevent any other woman from choosing to get an abortion (just as I would not force someone else to stop eating meat or believe in laws that dictate what people can eat). The state, religion, and individual's personal moral beliefs have no business in a woman's uterus.

I'm vegan and pro-life. I guess there are occasional cases where an abortion would be justified. But overall I'm extremely against it in your 'average' case.

Abortion is not birth control, but some woman use it like it is. They don't use protection, they should face the consequences, not just say "Opps! Oh well, I'll just murder it so no big deal."

And if they know they'd make terrible parents, adopt them away to more responsible people who want a child but can't conceive, so the child can have chance at a good life. It isn't because I disrespect a woman's right to do with her body as she chooses, I don't think it has much to do with 'her body' though - there's a life growing inside of her. I don't it's about her body so much as the baby.

In the very few cases where abortion seems justified to me, then it's fine of course. But other than that... Just my personal opinion though. I'll probably get a massive thumbs down, but hey.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
