Why are there two Kaye Ballard books;same title, different authors and the paperback came out before the hardcover?

Not different authors - the hardback listing has the co-author (mistakenly listed twice) the paperback listing does not. These books have the same content, but published by different companies at different times.

She wrote it with help from Jim Hesselman, so he is also listed as the author. Many celebrities who aren't writers themselves will work with an established writer to publish their memoirs. In this case, Kaye Ballard worked with Jim Hesselman.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
