Why are USC and UCLA rivals?

Both USC and UCLA are NCAA Division 1 schools located in Los Angeles California. Both schools are know for their athletic excellence, USC for football and UCLA for basketball, as well as many other inter-collegiate sports. Because both schools are constantly being pitted against each other in many different sports, the competition is ongoing, in a race to be the best and most dominant school in college sports.In fact, they have been known to compete with each other head-to-head in what was called The Lexus Gauntlet(Lexus is no longer sponsoring this event) where the two schools fight it out to find out who is the best school in 18 varsity sports.

Additionally, the schools battle it out in the ROTC Blood Bowl, the Band Bowl, the Kickoff Golf Challenge and Men's Rugby. While both schools are fairly close geographically, they are still bitter rivals athletically.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
