I have no problems with planned parenthood and I think they provide the community with a valuable service. I have actually been to the PP in my home town before to buy the Plan B pills for my ex gf. Not gonna lie, I was as nervous as hell walking in that place but the staff was very professional.
The Nurse gave me instructions for how to give the pills to her and told me about the potential side effects. From a holistic standpoint, I would much rather they receive funding from private donations and endowments because me paying for others to get laid and deal with the consequences of poor decisions is not really my problem and the NOW types make me gag to even listen to. However, priorities for cutting spending should be sought elsewhere first in my opinion.
Mine is not only based upon morality, but more based upon facts the fact is planned parenthood made a 1 billion dollar profit, which doing so in my book means that they do not require federal funding, I feel the same way about all of the bail outs to banks and other corporations. If you make a profit you should not get a grant or funding from the taxpayers in my opinion.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
