Why are women much more likely to tear their ACL during menstruation?

These days, it's not just football players and skiers who are tearing their ACL knee ligament. A lot of people are doing it - and menstruating women are doing it eight times more often than other people. Why?

During menstruation, hormones cause the soft tissue to become like a wet rubber band - and thus more likely to rupture. In order to keep pressure off the ligaments, it's important to build muscle around the knee (like in the quadriceps), so your muscles - and not the joint - can take on some of the force that you'll experience, be it through sports activity, or tripping on a curb.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
