3 Well, I always thought that it was because many Christians felt evolution denied God, attacked the doctrine of the church/denomination and personally offended many people who did not like being compared in any way to animals, monkeys or apes. Personally, I think it was primarily the pride involved in the latter myself. Particularly amongst us white folks some of who liked and still like to paint African Americans and others with the monkey classification.
Also creationism is a form religious political activism. You are not "activizing" unless you are arguing and being controversial.
So that's why people argue about creationism versus evolution.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
