Why can I only buy certain movies on amazon.com unbox and not rent them?

Unboxed That has frustrated me at times, too. I don't want to own a movie, I just want to watch it and be done with it occasionally. I don't usually watch a movie more than once so I have no need to own them.

But I would guess that it has something to do with either the licensing rights set between the distributor and Amazon, OR the coding needed for the rented movies to *POOF* off from your computer when your rental time is up--maybe they don't have them set up for rental yet. I've really enjoyed renting from Unboxed, and hope they will increase the number of films available for rent as opposed to purchase. Are you aware of Movielink?
