I don't think that the focus is on the aid. I think most people are upset because this woman, who has been single for 8 years, conceived 14 children through fertility treatments (which cost a pretty penny) and is now forced to use state and government money to care for them. 14 children.
I am in no way at all against aid to families that need it. One or two parents. But these families you speak of have only a few children (for the most part I am assuming anyway, lest not 14).
The problem is that this woman already had 6 children that she could barely support, and used all her money to essentially buy more children. They are not miracles, and I know that sounds harsh, but unlike many, many other women, she has not been trying to conceive with her husband for extended periods of time and this was her only option. No, in fact she has been celibate for years and chose to have numerous embryo's implanted in her regardless of the fact that she would not have any way of supporting them w/o help. It's unfortunate that these children were born into this world with her as their mother, I think that she has shown that it is clearly not all about the children, as you say, because if tis was the case she would have thought this out a little better.
It is OK to collect government aid. It is not OK to have additional children knowing that you will need even more aid. There is no shortage of babies, there are far too many.
There is a shortage of resources, from health care to basic energy. She is stealing from the poor. She should also be condemned in the strongest terms because she will not be able to properly care for so many children.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
