Why did America never have out of control debt prior to Reagan's tax cuts on the wealthy?

How anyone could believe that 30+ years of revenue cuts could lead to anything BUT chronic revenue shortages, I'll never know...

I laugh to myself and out loud every time a republican teapartier right wing proponent cites Reagan as a role model. Reagan and Bush together destroyed our surplus and that's just the way it is, unfortunately. Fact.

If not for the Reagan and Bush tax cuts to the wealthy, we would have at least 4 Trillion more dollars in our coffers. It's all unpatriotic hypocrisy by the right. Yes, I have the facts to back it up.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
