Why did an alligator eat Captain Hook and his pirates?

Because Captain Hook and his pirates are codfishes because alligators eat codfishes. That alligator ate Captain Hook and all of his pirate but Smee is the only one of Captain Hook's pirates that did not got eaten by an alligator because Smee is the friendly one of Captain Hook's pirates and he is too nice to do bad things to Peter Pan and the lost boys. And Peter Pan was trying to save the lost boys and made an alligator eat Captain Hook and his pirates.

After when the alligator eats Captain Hook and his pirates then the alligator spit out their buttons because buttons are not good to eat because button can cause things to choke.
