Many of the guns were bought at a gun show by a friend. We don't enforce laws very well. Especially gun shows.
An assault weapon was sold by a co worker, one the co worker bought before the ban. You can name one mass shooting in those 10 years. Now there's one every month.
Think about what a ban is. We have bans on rape, murder, hit and run, robbery, but does that stop those things from happening? The assault rifle bans were full of loopholes and very, very toothless and easy to get around.
There were TWO armed guards at Columbine, didn't stop anything, did it? There were armed police at Virginia tech, didn't stop anything, did it? The problem is KILLING MACHINES and their criminal availability with virtually NO accountability - and the willing blindness of people like you to turn away from this obvious truth.
'All it takes for evil to triumph in this world is for good men to do nothing.' Welcome to that club, bub.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
