I thought exactly the same thing. How is Romney not a career politician? He's a mess.
Romney is a remarkable business man with a record of turning around companies going down, like the Olympics, which is about as close as he's ever gotten to a political position except his 4 years as Governor. Romney didn't cost jobs in restructuring companies, he saved jobs, he didn't save all the jobs, but most of them. Without his efforts many more jobs would have been lost by the crashing companies he brought back to life.
Some idiot down there is reciting form the movie with Gorden Geko, and that's not what Romney did lol. He restructured companies, he didn't piece them out and sell off the pieces as a strategy. He sold off pieces that didn't work with the company to raise revenues to keep the rest they were doing well with working.
Those pieces went to companies they fit into and those jobs were often saved under the new entity who could use those assets better, when they were all about to be lost. Career politicians suck, they are the enemy of the rest of the people, he's right. We need people who don't plan to make their life in politics.
People who get in, do a job for the people, in service as it should be, and get out. Career politicians have motives that are against the best interests of the people.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
