Oooo - right wingers are feeling a little sensitive about this..... you can feel it in their testy answers. Hahahahaha. Anytime you might criticize their little hero - Baby Bush - they get all defensive and start pointing the finger somewhere else.
IF Bush hadn't taken the entire month of August 2001 off to "clear brush" in Crawford, Texas, and IF he had done something when he was briefed "bin Laden Determined to Strike Within the US," and IF he had met his counter-terrorism expert at least once before 9/11, I might be inclined to cut him some slack. Unfortunately, he DID take August off, he DID ignore the warning, and he DID NOT meet his counter-terrorism expert before 9/11 (or even after, if I recall correctly), so he gets no calm understanding from me.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
