Why did Republicans nominate John McCain after he offered to caucus with the Democrats in 2001?

Not a Republican but I don't. McCain stood up and was honorable when the woman in the audience said Obama was an Arab. In contrast, Romney failed to stand up for Sandra Fluke, or the gay staffer who worked for him, or against the birther nonsense, or against Ted Nugent's nonsense.

I disagree with both their politics, but McCain showed leadership where Romney has shown none.

Never liked McCain, and Mitt lost to him in 2008.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
