I know my fcuking basic rights, but it's my basic Country that I love! People rarely take the trouble to read up on their rights. Those that do tend to have a particular reason to do so. The officer is entitled to ask, your friend was entitled to refuse.

The officer would then have to give a reason for the stop and search - which is not actually not that hard to do. Our society is pressing for "value for money" and the Police are under a great deal of pressure to show results and how hard they are working... which often doing lots of stop and searches - random searches turn up drugs and weapons, which all goes down as a "result". Officer gets a pat on the head and is told is doing a good job.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
