Why did Wal-Mart get labeled "The Redneck Store"?

There are many stores just like it, especially Target. Target sells produce, clothes, toys and more and so does Walmart. They are nearly the same store but with different names, except that Walmart has always been known for having the lowest prices.

I'm with Gabriel. Wal-mart does have low prices. They have low prices because they don't pay their employees a living wage (many qualify for food stamps, and beginning in 2012, many won't even be able to afford the health insurance that Wal-mart offers any more.) They cut corners on everything, including product safety.

There have been repeated accusations of systemic discrimination against women and people of color. Can you tell I don't like Wal-mart? When I was laid off, then lost my home in a natural disaster, I shopped there for a while because I had no real choice.

But as soon as I could afford to stop shopping there, I did. Only real desperation had me shopping there. I didn't consider it voluntary at the time, but absolutely necessary.

And as to the People of Wal-mart site, there is no comparable People of Target site because Target is classier than Wal-Mart! JMHOKat .

Walmart and Target are very different stores. Their overall layout is different. Their pricing structure is different.

There is nothing comparable to Wal-Mart except Big K and they are a distant second place. People from the rural south tend to shop there because of the cheap inventory in clothing, guns, and home accessories. Their food prices do not seem much lower than other chains but it's convenient for one stop shopping for many.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
