Why do conservatives think that the troops don't deserve to be paid?

I don't think you're bad, but im concerned about the alternative, which is living in a police state as a slave to the government, potentially anyway. I don't think it has to turn out that way, but it's definitely a trend when you look at history. I think you can pull off socialism if everybody is White, so you don't have these brownies who want to gouge the **** out of the system for payback against perceived wrongs by Whitey.

The free market may not produce the optimum result every time but it is unquestionably superior to any alternative in the long run. You say capitalism makes people fat and lazy but isn't that better than starving and working yourself to death just to survive? Besides it's not capitalism that does that.

Capitalism doesn't make value judgements. It only reflects the values people already have. Capitalism doesn't make people fat and lazy, people makes themselves fat and lazy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
