Why do Filipinas marry a foreigner to leave the Philippines?

There is NOT any set limit on time to be here to get married however it does some time to do so. You will need to get a "No impediment to marriage" from the US Embassy as soon as you can (or check into getting it before you leave home. Then go to her municipal hall to get the marriage license.

There is a 10 day waiting period during which you you will have to take some seminars (very easy to do) then you can get married. I know of at least one person that his lady's father knew the Mayor very well & when he arrived here 8 days of the waiting period was already over! But normally figure on spending about 2 weeks to do everything.

Generally, 3 weeks is enough time. You must obtain affidavit of lieu in legal capacity to marry either in Cebu consulate or US embassy manila. There is also a 10 day waiting period to get the marriage license once you have met all the other requirements.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
