First of all.. find a new midwife.. stat lol.. with that said.. I wanted to breastfeed.. however in the hospital my son wasnt able to latch.. and then was spitting up every bit of breast milk we actually got into him with a bottle.. the nurses were getting a little bit worried that he wasnt keeping any nutrition in.. so there we go to the formula.. eventually we found out that he had reflux hence the spitting up of the breast milk.. but also a milk protein allergy so we landed finally on a very expensive specialized formula where the protein is broken down.. and eventually switched completely over to soy.. (this was after a few more attempts at breast milk AFTER the hospital that failed as well) finding the RIGHT formula was the only issue we ran in to.. he hit every milestone EARLY.. hes rarely ever sick.. everything was just fine.. I also think its great that you want to finish school to provide more in the long run for your baby.. so congrats to you.. a lot of people would have given up on that real quick.. I promise you tho that you are going to run into a lot of criticism for formula feeding (i did.. and I had no choice..) but thats your decision to make.. not everyone elses.. so if that works better for you.. then all the power to you :) if youre trying to figure out a way to stick to breast milk.. then your best option is pumping every few hours and keeping a stock of breast milk in the freezer for the times that youre at school.. however.. to keep the stock up keep in mind you'd need to pump every 2-4 hours so that your milk doesn't run dry too early which could be hard to keep up with while in school.. good luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
