I blame Obama. Didn't he go to an all black college for community organization? In Kenya (where he had citizenship until he ordered the CIA to stealth-alter hospital birth records).
Anyone can go to HBCU. Rachel Dolezal, my favorite white person, went to Howard, and tried to sue them for discriminating against her because she's white, judge threw her case out (too crazy I bet), I think that's when she decided she wanted to be black. Lol.
The only reason these majority black colleges are here is because there was a grand need for them at one point. Black people couldn't get access to them. Didn't have them.
So they got them. Remember: WHITES ONLY. Yeah, that was a thing.
One could argue we don't need them now but one could also argue they're historical. Thus the name "Historical" Black Colleges and Universities. They're a piece of history.
Why should they stop functioning as such? Plus most black people know teachers are more attentive towards minorities in HBCUs. I wish I went to one.
I felt like another number at my college. If I had went to an HBCU I probably would have felt more included.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
