Bush had too much compassion. He wasn't a true conservative. The lst 2 years of his administration he had an over spending congress.
The Crash was caused by the Barney Franks, ACORN, Freddy Mac, & Fanny May not Wall St. Most peoples Retirement depends on Wall St. even if they have a company pension. Please think in a Bigger Picture.
I'm not singing praises for him, I'm not much of a fan to be honest and I don't think his policies are going to do a very good job getting rid of the debt (regardless of how long term they are supposed to be), but the mortgage bubble and war debts were the RESULT of Clinton and Bush. VERY rarely are the current problems of the US the result of the current president. Regan cleaned up Carter's mess, Bush Sr cleaned up Reagan's, Clinton cleaned up Bush Sr's, Bush Jr tried but failed (miserably) to clean up Clinton's (who did a lot of damage), and Obama is trying to clean up Bush AND Clinton's, some other president will clean up Obama's mess (which we won't really know about until after his presidency is up).
So far all of Obama's policies are efforts to fix Bush's mistakes ... they're just not working very well ... but he didn't CAUSE the mess. That's how things have been for the last 50 years.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
