Why do liberals always claim the wealthy don't pay their "fair share", but never define what "fair share" is?

The reason why some of the 1% pay a lower rate than you do is because they make investments. If your rich Hollywood elitist allies want to pay higher taxes, they can send a check to the IRS anytime. The IRS would gladly accept their checks.

Higher taxes on the top 1% would not balance the budget. Neither will higher taxes on the middle class. Washington has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

I'm frustrated with both sides. The Repubs don't have the balls to end the wars and nation building, and the libs don't have the balls to cut a penny from anything other than the defense department.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
