Probably not; the "man behind the curtain" doesn't want any legitimate dialog outside of the Punch and Judy show that is the dualistic illusion called US politics (call it Democrat vs. Republican or Liberal vs. Conservative- to quote loosely George H.W. Bush, it's all "smoke and mirrors". Jesse Ventura- a former professional wrestler and politician- perhaps said it best when saying that government was just like professional wrestling: with the media present they're at each others throats- take the media out of the loop and they're slapping each other on the back while cracking jokes and buying each other drinks). Notice how quickly any attempt to create a third party voice (the Green Party, the Libertarian Party, and the Tea Party are all good examples from recent memory) is marginalized as being a splinter group from and somehow beholden to one of the entities within the two party sham.
A legitimate outside voice would have to insist our government return to its manifesto of "government by the people, for the people, and of the people"; this is the last dialog the military industrial complex wants to hear. That entity- the one Dwight Eisenhower (a former 5-star general as well as President) warned us about as he left the office of President of the United States- really runs the show, and we're all just drones who are supposed to support their efforts blindly.
Yes it is truly needed in america a 3rd party the honest party who call a spade a spade and not afraid to work it out with the ones who put them there the people of america are so sick of politics as useal that a 3rd party is neede to settle differences among thieves that govern us.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
