Why do people think that the gay community has some sick twisted agenda?

I'm not sure about the restaurant thing but it seems like a very american conflict. You guys have absolutist views on social issues and they often dominate public and political discussion and divide society. On the issue of gay marriage.

Actively banning it prevents gay couples from marrying. It has absolutely not effect on the rights of straight couples to marry. There is no parity on that issue.

The practical thing would be for the courts to rule on the issue and legalize gay marriage so it is done and dusted. Until american society and politicians find another social wedge issue. U_U.

Gay people make up about 3% of the population but unfortunately they are very vocal and the silent majority needs to start being more vocal. What I don't like it that they are now suing people who chose not to be part of their sick lifestyle. They promised they would not do that before all the gay marriage crap started and now we find out they are liars.

They want to have the right to be gay, then they need to in turn allow those who chose not to be part of it to have the right to do so; i.e. A baker not wanting to bake a cake for two husbands etc. or forcing a pastor to marry them. It is ridiculous.

This country is going down hill morally and we will suffer because of it. We already are.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
