Why do people vote unhelpful on questions which are based on opinions? They are not asking for fact based answers?

I'm not familiar with the answers you're referring to, so I'm not making a personal judgement here, just giving my opinion, which I hope is helpful. Some folks think that any opinion that doesn't agree with theirs is wrong and useless! They don't understand why everybody doesn't view things way they do.

They're not considering whether your answer is valid, they'rejust voicing their disagreement. Or maybe they just like to be contrary. Don't waste time worrying about them."

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
