Why do Republicans want tax payers to pay for the cleanup of the BP oil spill?

Republicans are tools of the oil companies. That is nothing new. Republicans will valiantly defend oil companies' profits and protect them at taxpayers' and consumers' expense, no matter what.

Republicans are at least consistent in that regard.

Actually I'd prefer BP pays for all of it, and quickly. None of this should be shouldered by the taxpayer, and Obama better make sure of it. I know that's asking a lot of a President who said he would "kick some a s s."

This is taking time away from his incessant partying and campaigning for bills no one wants.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
