Why do Repubs love to "provide for the common defense"but not"promote the general welfare"?

Hardly anyone spoke to me ( strangers that is) until I got a dog. Now when I walk the dog lots of people stop and talk.

Here is one for the book. I treat complete Strangers like lost long friends..This at times shocks them, but they get over it very quickly and for a few minutes we have a Great time. Now who do you think,other than this answer looks at strangers, never as strangers but just another human as their self.

I have no discernment..is that so good all the time?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
