Why do so many conservatives/Republicans love Ronald Reagan?

Well its not just conservatives it is everyone except the hard core liberal extremist who like reagan that's why he was reelected in the largest landslide in american history. 2. Reagan cut a deal with the liberals controlling congress, he would raise tax's and they would cut spending of course the liberals lied and refused to cut spending 3.

But it all comes down to, Reagan was a leader, like JFK and Clinton after him They were all able to lead the country to where they wanted it to go 4. And in contrast to Carter, who like 0bama, who both seem to be ashamed to be american Reagan shone like a star.

Because he stands for what Republicans really want: 1. Increased budget deficit (Reagan and G.W. Bush) 2. Amnesty for illegal immigrants 3.

Less taxes for the rich (even if the rich themselves want to pay them) 4. Lower quality of life for everybody. Reagan looked like a nice man (his wife too) but he was a disgrace as a president and a threat to the world peace who also undermined the US economy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
