Why do some dogs eat grass?

Two reasons of belief here from talking to my vet. The first one is when dogs seem to eat grass really fast without chewing they either have something stuck in their throat or an upset stomach. When they eat grass that quickly it allows them to almost instantly vomit which settles their stomach or removes the dislodged item in their throat.

Second reason she said was that some dogs just enjoy it. If they nibble on grass and actually chew it and only eat a small amount more than likely they won't get sick they just enjoy the taste of it.

Dogs tend to eat grass when their stomach is upset. The grass seems to help settle the dogs tummy down.

Dogs eat grass to make up for a vitamin deficiency or a lack of roughage in their regular diet. It's unlikely that eating grass will actually add any essential nutrients to a dogs diet, and many healthy dogs who always eat a perfectly balanced diet also eat grass.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
