It's talking about the sun rising from west that is sign of judgement day. Islam is the only religion that prophesies that the sun will rise from the West, instead of from rising from the East, in the the End Times, before Day of Judgement. Both the Quran and the Hadith affirm that this phenomenon will take place.
The occurrence of this phenomenon is considered in Islam as one of the major signs that indicate the Day of Judgement is close. Allah says in the Qur'an: " No good will it do to a person to believe then, if he believed not before, nor earned good (by performing deeds of righteousness) through his faith." (Surah Al-An'aam 6:158) This verse is referring to the rising of the sun from the West, according to the opinion of the majority of Quran commentators such as Tabari and Ibn Kathir. Imam Tabari, after mentioning the different opinions of the commentators writes, "The most correct opinion in regards to the meaning of this verse is that what is apparent from the reports narrated from the Prophet (pbuh) that he said, "Becoming a Believer will be of no benefit after the sun rises from the West." (Tabari) Abu Huraira reported that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) said, "Hasten to do good deeds before six (things happen): Rising of the sun from the West..." (Mishkat) Abdullah-bin-Umar said, "I memorized a Hadith of the Messenger of Allah?
Which I have not forgotten. I heard the Messenger of Allah? Say, 'The first of the Signs that will come is the rising of the sun from the place of its setting and the emergence of the Daabba to people in Duha (later portion of the morning before noon).
Whichever of these two (signs) occurs before the other, then the other one will occur immediately after it." (Sahih Muslim).
The Saheeh of al-Bukhaari is the soundest book of narration after the Book of Allaah. The scholars, muhaddithoon (scholars of hadeeth) and hafizes all bear witness to its high status in terms of authenticity and precision. But there are some minor criticisms levelled at a few ahaadeeth that are recorded in Saheeh al-Bukhaari The number of ahaadeeth in Saheeh al-Bukhaari, including repetitions – according to the numbering of Muhammad Fu’aad ‘Abd al-Baaqi – is 7563.
When we realize that the number of criticisms is less than twenty, and that most of these criticisms have to do with matters concerning the isnaads, or whether the hadeeth reaches the highest level of saheeh, or they have to do with one or two words in a hadeeth, and that the criticisms which have to do with matters affecting the soundness of the matn (text) are rare and affect no more than one or two or three ahaadeeth – when we know all that, we realize that applying the label of saheeh to everything that is in al-Bukhaari, texts and isnaads, is correct and cannot be denied. The hadith in Q is sahih and Allah is capable of everything also its abt astronomy and it doesn't contradict any scientific facts,The sun have a fixed course, all Muhammad(pbuh) is saying is that the sun prostrates before god and asks if it can rise from the place it left, and it is given permission, it does not mean the sun goes and hides away and the whole earth becomes dark. It is only for specific locations where the sun has left and the area has become dark, the sun then asks permission if it can return to those areas thus giving daylight.
Nothing wrong with that.? (To Him belongs whosoever is in the heavens and on earth. And those who are near Him).
