Why do we call Indians "Native Americans" instead of "Indigenous Americans"?

Latin is not an ethnic group, it is a language and cultural group. They did not call themselves Latins back in the day, they called themselves Romans.

There aren't real latin people. The real (pure if you prefer) latin people are the ones who lived in Ancient Rome. Then you have the 2nd generation of latins (spaniards, italians, portuguese, french) and the 3rd generation (south americans but also angolans, etc) People who speak a latin language can be called latin but if you've noticed only Americans use that term, and you're about to know why: "The term Caucasian race has been used to denote the general physical type of some or all of the populations of Europe, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, West Asia, Central Asia and South Asia.

Historically, the term has been used to describe the entire population of these regions, without regard necessarily to skin tone" - wikipedia Americans started use the term to describe "white people" (Europeans and other lighter-skinned populations) The others were "black people" but since south americans don't have completely black skin they call them latins. If we adopt americans terms we have to consider the "real latins" as white people. They are europeans.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
